धनवान् कुटुम्बी सुखोजनः विनयवान्॥ १४॥

dhanavān wealthy, rich; kuṭumbī a householder, member of family; sukhojana happy, prosperous; vinayavān well behaved;
netre the eye; vilāsa shining, beautiful, attractive; dhanavān wealthy, rich; sumukha a bright or beautiful face;
dayāvan kind hearted, taking pity on; paropakārī assisting others, benevolence, charity;
dvatriṁṣadvarṣe 32nd year; uttama best, excellent, highest; strī a woman, wife; lābha getting, obtaining, gaining;
bhāvādhipe lord of the house; durbala weak; duḥsthāne bad house or placement; netra the eye; parītyaṁ to be circumambulated; bhavati being, present;
śaśiyute conjoined Moon; niśāndha night blind; kuṭumbahīno without family; netrarogī eye disease; dhananāśakara wasting or destroying wealth.
Translation: If Venus is in the second house, the native will be wealthy, will have family, he will be prosperous and well behaved. He will have attractive eyes and beautiful face. He will be kind hearted and helpful to others.
In his 32nd year he will get a beautiful wife.
If the lord of the second house is weak or placed in bad house (6th, 8th or 12th house) native will suffer from eye troubles.
If Venus is conjoined Moon (while the lord of second house is in 6th, 8th or 12th house), the native will be night blind, without family, will suffer from eye disease and will waste his wealth.
