लग्नात्पंचमे भृगुफलम्
lagnātpaṁcame bhṛguphalam
lagnād Lagna or Ascendant, paṁcame fifth, bhṛguphalam fruits or results of the Venus
Translation: The results of the Venus in the fifth house.
बुद्धिमान् मंत्री सेनापतिः॥ २९॥
मातामही दृश्वायौवनदार पुत्रवान्॥ ३०॥
राजसन्मानी मंत्री सुजः स्त्रीप्रसन्नतावृद्धिः॥ ३१॥
तत्रपापयुते पापक्षेत्रे अरिनीचगे बुद्धिजाड्ययुतः पुत्राशः॥ ३२॥
तत्रशुभयुते बुद्धिमान् नीतिमत्पुत्रसिद्धिः वाहनयोगः॥ ३३॥

rājasanmānī maṁtrī sujaḥ strīprasannatāvṛddhiḥ || 31||
tatrapāpayute pāpakṣetre arinīcage buddhijāḍyayutaḥ putrāśaḥ || 32||
tatraśubhayute buddhimān nītimatputrasiddhiḥ vāhanayogaḥ || 33||
buddhimān intelligent; maṁtrī minister, a king’s counsellor; senāpati general of an army, the chief commander;
mātāmahī a maternal grandparents, ancestors; dṛśvā having seen, familiar with; yauvanadāra young wife; putravān having children;
raja a king, chief; sanmānī respect or esteem for the good; maṁtrī minister; suja happy; strī a wife, consort; prasanna clear, kind, bright; vṛddhi growth, prosperity, increase;
tatra in that case, therein; pāpayute conjoined malefic; pāpakṣetre malefic sign; arinīcage enemy sign or debilitated; buddhi intelligence, reason; jāḍya dullness, stupidity; yuta conjoined; putrāśa wanting children;
tatra in that case, therein; śubhayute conjoined benefic; buddhimān intelligent; nītimat wise, of moral conduct; putra child, a son; siddhi success, fulfillment; vāhanayoga conveyances.
Translation: If Venus is in the fifth house, the native will be intelligent and will be a minister or commander of an army. He will be familiar with maternal grandparents, will have a young wife and children.
He will be respected and honored by Government (king), will be a minister and his wife will give him happiness and prosperity.
If Venus is conjoined malefic, is placed in malefic, inimical sign or debilitated, the native will be stupid and will remain in want of children.
If instead Venus is conjoined benefic, native will be intelligent, wise and will have children and conveyances.
