Translation: The results of the Jupiter in the eighth house.
अल्पायुः नीचकृत्यकारी॥ ३८॥
पापयुते पतितः॥ ३९॥
भावाधिपे सुभयुते रन्ध्रे दीर्घयुः॥ ४०॥
बलहीने अल्पायुः॥ ४१॥
पापयुते सप्तदशवर्षदुपरि विधवासंगमो भवति॥ ४२॥
उच्चस्वक्षेत्रे दीर्घयुः बलहीनः अरोगी योगपौरुषः विद्वान्
वेदशास्त्रविचक्षणः॥ ४३॥

uccasvakṣetre dīrghayuḥ balahīnaḥ arogī yogapauruṣaḥ vidvān
vedaśāstravicakṣaṇaḥ || 43||
alpāyu short-lived; nīca debilitated, low, vile, mean; kṛtyakārī a witch, woman causing injury or destruction;
pāpayute conjoined malefic; patita fallen, wicked, degraded;
bhāvādhipe lord of the house; subhayute conjoined benefic; randhre 8th house; dīrghayu long-lived;
balahīne weak; alpāyu short-lived;
pāpayute conjoined malefic; saptadaśavarṣad 17th year; upari after, in connection to; vidhavā a widow; saṁgamo sexual unity, come together; bhavati being, present;
uccasvakṣetre exalted or in own sign; dīrghayu long-lived; balahīnaḥ weak; arogī healthy; yogapauruṣa saintly; vidvān a wise man, sage, seer.
Translation: If Jupiter is in the eighth house the native will be short-lived and will indulge in mean and vile activities (causing destruction to others). If Jupiter is conjoined malefic he will be sinful.
If the lord of the 8th house is conjoined a benefic planet in the 8th house the native will be long-lived. If the lord of the 8th house is weak he will be short-lived.
If Jupiter is conjoined malefic the native will have sexual relationship with a widow after his 17th year.
If Jupiter is exalted (Cancer) or in own sign (Sagittarius or Pisces) he will be long-lived, if Jupiter is weak he will be healthy, saintly and wise man.
