लग्नात्षष्ठे राहुकेत्वोः फलम्

Translation: The results of the Rahu or Ketu in the sixth house.

 

धीरवान् अतिसुखी॥ १४॥

इन्दुयुते राजस्त्रीभोगी॥ १५॥

निर्धनः चोरः॥ १६॥

dhīravān brave, courage’s, intelligent; atisukhī very happy;

induyute conjoined Moon; raja a king, sovereign; strībhogī enjoyment of woman, sexual intercourse;

nirdhana without property, poor; cora a thief, plagiarist.

 

Translation: If Rahu or Ketu are in the sixth house, the native will be brave and very happy. If Moon is conjoined Rahu or Ketu, the native will have sexual contact with ladies of king’s family. He will be poor and a thief.

Saturn in the Sixth house

Saturn 6th

alpa small, minute, little; jāti birth, family, lineage; śatrukṣaya destruction, fall, end;

dhana wealth, riches; dhānya corn, grain; samṛddhi prosperity, growth, increase; kujayute conjoined Mars; deśāntara another country, abroad; saṁcārī wandering, moving;

alpa minute, small, little; rājayoga Raja yoga;

bhaṁgayogāt from the banga yoga; kvacit somewhere, anywhere; saukhyakvacid some happiness; yogabhaṁga yoga bhaṁga;

randhreśe lord of 8th house; maṁde Saturn; ariṣṭaṁ hurt, misfortune; vātarogī wind-disease, rheumatism, gout, etc.; śūla sharp instrument, spike; vraṇadehī wound, ulcer, tumor, scar, boil.

 

Translation: If Saturn is in the sixth house, the native will have small community and there will be destruction of enemies. The native will have financial and agricultural prosperity.

Is Saturn is conjoined Mars, the native will travel far and wide and will enjoy moderate Raja yoga. In case of yoga bhaṁga, there will be some happiness and some fall.

If Saturn is in the 6th house as the lord of 8th house, the native will suffer from Arishta (reduction in longevity) and vatta related diseases (rheumatism, gout, etc.) and shooting pains. He will also have marks and injuries in the body.

 

 

 

Venus in the Sixth house

भावाधिपे बलयुते शत्रुजातिर्द्धिः शत्रुपापयुते नीचस्थे

jāti birth, family, lineage; prajā procreation, offspring, family; siddhi accomplishment, fulfillment, success; śatrukṣaya destruction of enemies; putrapautravān having children and grandchildren;

apātra unworthy, undeserving; vyayakārī making payments, expending; māyāvādī world of illusion; rogavān sick or diseased; āryaputravān one who has honorable children;

bhāvādhipe lord of house; balayute strong; śatru enemy, foe; jāti family, lineage; vrddhi increase, growth; śatrupāpayute conjoined enemy or malefic; nīcasthe debilitated; bhāveśindusthe lord of the house conjoined or in the sign of the Moon; śatrujātināśa loss or destruction of relations and enemies.

 

Translation: If Venus is in the sixth house, the native will have good number of relations (family members), there will be destruction of enemies and the native will have children and grandchildren.

He will incur wasteful expenditure, will be deceitful, diseased and will have honorable children.

If the lord of the sixth house is strong there will be increase in number of enemies and relations. If the lord of the sixth house is conjoined inimical planet, malefic or is debilitated or is associated with the Moon, there will be loss of relations (family) and destruction of enemies.

 

 

 

Jupiter in the Sixth house

Jupiter 6th

śatru an enemy, foe, rival; kṣaya destruction, fall, termination; jātivṛddhi growth of family; pautra grandson, granddaughter; adi and others; darśanaṁ knowing, seeing, looking; vraṇaśarīra ulcer, wound or sore on the body; śubhayute conjoined benefic; rogābhāva absence of disease, health;

pāpayute conjoined malefic; pāpakṣetre in a malefic sign; vāta wind, air; śaitya coldness, frigidity; adi and others; roga disease;

mandakṣetre house of Saturn; rāhuyute conjoined Rahu; mahāroga severe illness.

 

Translation: If Jupiter is in the sixth house, the native will destroy his enemies, there will be growth of family. He will have grandchildren and marks of wounds on the body.

If Jupiter is conjoined benefic the native will be free from diseases.

If Jupiter is conjoined malefic or is in a sign of malefic planet, the native will suffer from vāta related diseases (rheumatism, etc.) and diseases due to cold.

If Jupiter is in the sign of Saturn (Capricorn or Aquarius) conjoined Rahu the native will suffer from severe illness.

rāhuketuyute conjoined Rahu or Ketu; arthahīnaḥ deprived of wealth, poor;

ghoraḥ awful, terrible, dreadful; śatru enemy, foe, rival; kalahavān quarrel, fight, deceit; sahodara born from the same womb, brother or sister; hīna left, abonded, forsaken; agnimaṁdyi fire, digestive faculty, the fire of the stomach; adi at first; rogī disease, sickness;

Translation: If the Moon is in the sixth house, native will be poor and of diseased body. In his 36th year native will develop illicit relations with a widow. It he Moon is associated with a malefic the native will indulge in sinful deeds.

If the Moon is conjoined Rahu or Ketu the native will be bereft of wealth, he will have dangerous enemies, will be quarrelsome, he will be without brothers or sisters and will suffer from stomach diseases.

Watery places like ponds, pools, wells may prove dangerous for his life.

If the Moon is conjoined malefic planet person will be sickly. If the Moon is waning, it will give its full malefic results. If the Moon is conjoined with a benefic the native will have strong constitution and will be free from the disease.

The Sun in the Sixth house

Translation: If the Sun is in the sixth house, the native will belong to a lower caste. He will have many enemy’s but will be well of financially. In his twentieth year the native will suffer from eye disease but if the Sun is aspected or conjoined with benefic planet that will not be the case. The native will wander in jungles and will take interest in chanting mantras. He will have good reputation but he will have mental worries and his body will be of a hot (pitta) constitution. If the lord of the sixth house is associated with benefic, the native will enjoy good health. He will have many natural enemies. If the lord of the sixth house is weak, there will be destruction of enemies. The father will also possess a weak constitution.
