Translation: The results of the Moon in the twelfth house.

 

 

दुर्भोजनः दुष्पात्रव्ययः कोपोद्भवव्यसन समृद्धिमान्

स्त्रीयोगयुक्तः अन्न हीनः॥ ७०॥

शुभयुते विद्वान् दयावान् पापशत्रुयुते पापलोकः

शुभमित्रयुते श्रेष्ठलोकवान्॥ ७१॥

durbhojanaḥ bad food; duṣpātra bad; vyaya expanse, losses; kopodbhava state of anger, rage; vyasana addiction, vice, evil passion; samṛddhimān one with great success, prosperity, wealth; strīyoga in union with woman; yukta joined, yoked, attached; anna food, eating; hīna loss, left, defeated;

śubhayute conjoined benefic; vidvān learned; dayāvān compassionate, sympathetic; pāpa malefic; śatru enemy, rival, foe; yute attached, united; pāpaloka place of suffering, śubhamitra good friends; yute conjoined, associated; śreṣṭha most beautiful, pleasant; lokavān region, space or world.

 

Translation: If the Moon is in the twelfth house, the native will be deprived of good food, will incur wasteful expenditure, and will be of an angry nature, will earn money by questionable means (like gambling, etc.), will suffer from disease as a result of contacts with woman (sexually transmitted diseases) and will have no food.

If the Moon is conjoined with a benefic the native will be learned, kindhearted, will have good friends (associations) and will go to heaven after death. If the Moon is associated with a malefic the native will go to hell.

guṇāḍhya rich in virtuous or excellences;

bhāvādhipe lord of the house; balahīne destitute of strength, weak; bahudhana wealthy, rich; vyaya decay, ruin, loss;

balayute endowed with strength, powerful; lābhavān one who is gaining;

lābhecandre Moon in the 11th house; nikṣipa to throw or cast, to give or hand over; lābha gain, profit, obtaining;

Translation: If the Moon is in the eleventh house, the native will be highly learned, will have sons and will be helpful to others. At the age of 50 he will be father to many sons and will poses praiseworthy qualities.

If the lord of the eleventh house is weak, the native will suffer losses (will have expenditures). If the lord of the eleventh house is strong, the native will have gains of wealth.

The presence of Moon in the eleventh house will enable native to acquire wealth without much effort. If the Moon is in conjunction with Venus the native will be owner of conveyances pulled by men. He will be highly educated, will own lands, and will be fortunate and protector of others.

Translation: If the Moon is in the tenth house the native will achieve high academic attainments. He will be brilliant, will do pious deeds, and will be famous and kind hearted.

If Moon is conjoined malefic, native will have illicit relationship with a widow in his 27th year and will earn bitterness of the people on that account.

If the lord of the tenth house is endowed with strength the native will be highly virtuous. If the Moon is conjoined malefic, person will indulge in sinful deeds and will have to face obstacles in all spheres of his life.

pūrṇacandre full Moon; balayute endowed with strength, powerful; bahu many, much, aboundant; bhāgyavān fortunate, lucky;

Translation: If the Moon is in the ninth house, the native will be highly learned and righteous. He will construct ponds, tanks for the good of others and shelters for cows.

He will be fortunate in the matter of children who will be prosperous.

If the Moon is full, the native himself will be very fortunate and his father will be long lived. If Moon is conjoined malefic planet or is in a malefic sign, the native will be unfortunate and will suffer loss of parents early in life.

svarkṣe own sign; svocce exalted; dīrghayu long lived; kṣīne waning; or; madhyamāyu medium span of life.

 

Translation: If the Moon is placed in the eighth house native will not have much of comfort from conveyances. Watery places like ponds, tanks, wells etc. will be sources of danger to his life. He will be separated from his relations on account of his wife.

If the Moon is in own sign (Cancer) or in sign of exaltation (Taurus), the native will be long lived. He will have medium span of life if the Moon is waning.

Translation: If the Moon is in the seventh house the native will be soft spoken and will get a wife in his 32nd year. He will have some defect in his eyes and will be fond of woman. He will have to undergo surgery caused by contacts with woman.

He will receive favors from king (Government).

If the lord of the seventh house is strong he will have two wives. If the Moon is weak (waning) there will be loss of wife. If the Moon is full, or powerful by placement in the sign of exaltation (Taurus), native will have only one wife and he will enjoy in all comforts and luxuries that are available to him.

Translation: If the Moon is in the sixth house, native will be poor and of diseased body. In his 36th year native will develop illicit relations with a widow. It he Moon is associated with a malefic the native will indulge in sinful deeds.

If the Moon is conjoined Rahu or Ketu the native will be bereft of wealth, he will have dangerous enemies, will be quarrelsome, he will be without brothers or sisters and will suffer from stomach diseases.

Watery places like ponds, pools, wells may prove dangerous for his life.

If the Moon is conjoined malefic planet person will be sickly. If the Moon is waning, it will give its full malefic results. If the Moon is conjoined with a benefic the native will have strong constitution and will be free from the disease.

Translation: If the Moon is in the fifth house the native will be successful in pleasing female deity (by his devotional worship). His wife will be beautiful (handsome) but will sometimes show anger. She will have birth mark in between her breasts.

The native will acquire cattle wealth, will have two wives, will have abundant supply of milk, will be of satwik nature (will have good qualities) and will be hard worker. He will be worrisome and will beget a number of daughters and only one son.

He will be worshiper of female deities.

If the Moon is conjoined or aspected with the benefic native will do good to others. If the Moon is strong by being full Moon, he will gain pleasure from feeding others, he will be powerful and will be full of glory by blessings of many learned people. Translation: If the Moon is in the fourth house, person will be crowned as a king (he will get very high status by the Government), he will own many horses (nowadays can indicate many conveyances), he will enjoy increase of agricultural and financial wealth but his mother will be sickly. The native will be brought up on breast milk of woman other than his mother.

He will enjoy plenty of good food and will be happy but he will be desirable of other people’s wives (woman other than his wife).

If the Moon is strong by being full or in its own sign (Cancer) natives mother will be long lived. She will be short lived if the Moon is weak (waning) or conjoined malefic planet.
