Translation: The results of the Rahu or Ketu in the fifth house.

putrābhāva state of a child; sarva all, every, completely; śāpāt under a curse; suta a son, child, offspring; kṣaya loss, destruction;

nāga a snake, serpent god; pratiṣṭhayā installed, standing firmly; putraprāpti obtaining or saving the child;

pavanavyādhi disease related to the wind in the body, rheumatism; durmargī bad ways, sinful deeds; rājakopa wrath or anger of the king; duṣṭa bas, spoiled, corrupted; grāmavāsī living in villages.

 

Translation: If Rahu or Ketu are placed in the fifth house the native will have no children or suffer loss of children due to wrath or the Serpent God. He will have children after conducting Naga pooja (establishing a snake idol). The native will suffer from windy diseases and indulge in sinful deeds. He will suffer from wrath of king (Government) and will live in removed places.

Saturn in the Fifth house

putrahīna loss of children or childless; ati beyond, over; daridrī poor, deprived of, beggar; durvṛtta bad conduct, behaving badly, vile; dattaputrī adopted child;

svakṣetre own sign; strī a woman, female; prajā offspring, progeny, children; siddhi accomplishment, fulfillment;

gurudṛṣṭe Jupiter’s aspect; strīdvayam two wives;

tatra in that case, therefore; prathama first, prior; aputrā sonless; dvitīyā second, later, companion; putravatī having a son or children;

Translation: If Saturn is placed in the fifth house, the native will be childless and very poor. He will be involved in bad behavior and will adopt a daughter.

If Saturn is placed in own sign (Capricorn or Aquarious) the native will have daughters.

If Saturn is aspected by Jupiter, native will have two wives, in which case first one will be issueless and the second wife will give birth to daughters.

If Saturn is strong the native will have affairs with many woman.

raja a king, chief; sanmānī respect or esteem for the good; maṁtrī minister; suja happy; strī a wife, consort; prasanna clear, kind, bright; vṛddhi growth, prosperity, increase;

tatra in that case, therein; pāpayute conjoined malefic; pāpakṣetre malefic sign; arinīcage enemy sign or debilitated; buddhi intelligence, reason; jāḍya dullness, stupidity; yuta conjoined; putrāśa wanting children;

Translation: If Venus is in the fifth house, the native will be intelligent and will be a minister or commander of an army. He will be familiar with maternal grandparents, will have a young wife and children.

He will be respected and honored by Government (king), will be a minister and his wife will give him happiness and prosperity.

If Venus is conjoined malefic, is placed in malefic, inimical sign or debilitated, the native will be stupid and will remain in want of children.

If instead Venus is conjoined benefic, native will be intelligent, wise and will have children and conveyances.

Translation: If Jupiter is placed in the fifth house, the native will be highly intelligent, will be broad-minded, will be eloquent, full of glory, will feed others and love his family. In his 18th year he will become commander of the army by the favor of the king. He will also have many children.

If the lord of the house is strong and at the same time in a malefic, inimical sign or debilitated, native will suffer loss of children or native will have only one child.

He will be rich but will suffer loss of wealth on account of penalties imposed by the king (Government).

If Jupiter is conjoined Rahu or Ketu, the native will suffer loss of children on account of wrath of Serpent God, but this will not happen if Jupiter is aspected by a benefic planet.

Translation: If Mercury is in the fifth house, the native’s maternal uncle will be exposed to dangers. He will enjoy happiness from maternal side, will have difficulty in having children, will be highly intelligent (will have brain power), soft-spoken and wise.

If Mars is exalted (Capricorn) or in own sign (Aries or Scorpio) person will have prosperity through sons and will enjoy feeding others. He will have Governmental position of high status but will have troubles from enemies.

If Mars is conjoined malefic or is in malefic house person will suffer loss of children. He will suffer on account of mental disorders and other such diseases.

If he is associated with the 8th lord or conjoined malefic he will be sinful but brave.

Translation: If the Moon is in the fifth house the native will be successful in pleasing female deity (by his devotional worship). His wife will be beautiful (handsome) but will sometimes show anger. She will have birth mark in between her breasts.

The native will acquire cattle wealth, will have two wives, will have abundant supply of milk, will be of satwik nature (will have good qualities) and will be hard worker. He will be worrisome and will beget a number of daughters and only one son.

He will be worshiper of female deities.

If the Moon is conjoined or aspected with the benefic native will do good to others. If the Moon is strong by being full Moon, he will gain pleasure from feeding others, he will be powerful and will be full of glory by blessings of many learned people. He will do pious deeds, will be very fortunate and prosperous. He will be known as Rajayogi (one having a very high status in worldly things but remains very saintly and detached).

Translation: If the Sun is in the fifith house, the native will be poor, of bulky body and in his sevent year, his father will face and overcome hurt, serious illnes or misfortune. The native will be learned and intelligent but will have few children. If the lord of the fifth house endowed with strength, person will have fullfilment through children.

If the Sun is associated with Rahu or Ketu, person can loose children due to the curse of Serapant God. If the Sun is in conjuction with Mars there will be loss of children due to enemy. If the above mentioned is under the aspect or in conjunction with a benefics, there will be no such loss of children.

When the Sun is in the fifth house, the person will become a devotee of the Sun God. If the Sun is strong the children will be prosperous.
